Wild Things Park is home to the Washington Wild Things baseball team of the Frontier League. The multi-purpose space can seat 3,200 passionate Wilds Things fans. Several rows of box seats were once part of Three Rivers Stadium.

The ball field, which also hosts high school, college and amateur baseball, was built above Washington Crown Center in North Franklin Township. Its presence brought new economic development to the area – hotels, restaurants and offices. PONY Baseball and Softball International Headquarters and its museum were built next door. As was Ross Memorial Park and Alexandre Stadium, a multi-use facility opened by Washington and Jefferson College for its baseball, soccer and lacrosse teams.

The Washington Wild Things made the park their home starting with their first exhibition game in 2002. Box seats sold out before their season started. Their home opener was packed. The Washington BlueSox played at the stadium from 2006 to 2008, until moving to Butler, PA.

The park can be rented for weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, corporate functions and other gatherings. The stadium’s party pavilion, hot tub deck, picnic area and kids zone draw people for a variety of uses. Wild Things Park hosts antique fairs, concerts and car cruises through the year. 5,000 people can attend concerts there.

The stadium was called Falconi Field until 2007. CONSOL Energy Park paid for naming rights from then until 2017.

WashCo Ballpark Holdings purchased the park in 2012. Ownership by a company put the property on the real estate tax rolls. Former Pittsburgh Steeler Dermontti Dawson was one of the new owners. The original owner, a nonprofit formed to develop the stadium, kept ownership of natural gas and oil rights to the property, which could be sold to fund scholarships.
